Michael Kors’ Fall Winter 2015 2016 collection was characterized by a glamorous simplicity, romantic and tailored at the same time. The collection showed a longer and sinewy silhouette with luxe knit dressing from head to toe, military accents but also the flutter of feminine ruffles.
Key items were the neat skirt suits, the trumpet-shaped skirts and dresses and the laid-back pajama dressing. For the evening, modern and sleek, Kors used lush damask and velvet playing off of gunchecks, tweeds, foulards and paisleys.
The colors are warm tones of olive, fawn, barley and chocolate, smoky banker and charcoal, crisp black, white and navy and rich shades of claret, peacock, topaz and peridot.
Must-have accessories are the structured travel bag and lean shoulder bags. Menswear oxfords, slides and monk straps ground the silhouette.
