PERRIN PARIS continues to evolve with sleek and innovative shapes, deft design, notable attention to detail and as always – a hint of irony. The handbags are, first and foremost, beautiful objects that often transgress the formal usage to become an extension of the hand or arm, remaining true to the houses’ glove heritage and expert leather craftsmanship.
Spring Summer 2016 collection was inspired by 20th century French modern art and design: Jacque Tati’s whimsical aesthetic; Sonia Delaunay’s simultaneous bright colors and spherical forms; Jean Prouvé’s practical and inventive minimalism. Black and white combinations go for bold; bright colors in luxurious custom-dyed calfskin such as magenta, matcha green, lilac and apricot add the punch. Pastel ostrich feathers and sculptural silver components render this collection playfully refined.
