Artistic Director Jason Wu explores a central element of the BOSS DNA for the Spring/Summer 2016 campaign: the juxtaposition of architecture and nature. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the images exude a fresh, youthful spirit.
Shot on location in Montauk, New York, the campaign uses the structure of a house and its grounds in different ways, playing with movement and perspective. Angular and masculine, the imagery utilizes sharp architectural lines, as well as the silhouettes of trees and leaves.
The star of the BOSS Eyewear campaign for Spring/Summer 2016 is actor Eddie Peng. Making his debut in a BOSS campaign, Eddie is one of Asia’s most gifted young actors and was chosen for his energy and modern style, which embodies the spirit of BOSS Eyewear.
In the campaign, Eddie wears new optical and sunglass designs from the collection. The sunglasses are crafted in an iconic pilot shape from an inventive combination of materials – a steel front frame and double carbon fiber temples structured with soft-to-the-touch rubber. The optical frames are engineered with authentic materials including metal, flexible carbon fiber and rubber, in classic and subtle shades of black, brown and blue to complement the understated design.
